Paget PR have previously worked with Gainsborough House in support of their capital project for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to expand their museum and create a national centre for Thomas Gainsborough.
This week Gainsborough House unveiled a new bronze bust of Thomas Gainsborough, based on Gainsborough’s self-portraits by the renowned British designer Nicole Farhi. Ten copies of this bronze will be made and will be auctioned to help raise funds for the planned redevelopment of the museum.
The official unveiling ceremony took place on 29th February at Gainsborough House, with Sir David Hare as guest speaker. Anna Wintour, who has supported this campaign by funding the first two bronzes, also attended the ceremony as a special guest.
The sculpture will be on display for general viewing from 1st March 2016.
